ILM ESSENTIALS

Ilm Essentials

Ilm essential’s courses were developed to meet the needs of students of today. They build the foundation to both of our programs, Hifdh and Alima Course (Girls).  Ilm essentials classes introduces students to the Arabic language, which serves them extensively in either one of the paths they choose. It assists the students to independently study Arabic texts as well as recognizing basic laws of Islam. 

 

Students are placed by age and aptitude. 
 

Curriculum

Weekend courses are provided as a way to instill the love of learning about Islam for ages five to 15. This course is called Ilm Essentials because it establishes a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge and beliefs for children. Children will learn how to read the Quran, understand the Arabic alphabet, learn daily du'as, learn and memorize hadith, and the pillars of Islam. Children will learn the basis of religion and learn to enact the teaching of the Prophet (SAW).  This course starts accepting students at the age of five until they are 15 years old.

Schedule

The student's daily schedule consists of classes Monday - Friday from 8:30 am until 4:10 pm year-round. Ilm Essential classes are from 1:00 pm until 4:10 pm.

Enrollment

The admissions process begins with our online application, which is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We practice "rolling admission," where applications are saved until our next admission interview season. You may apply to Muneer Academy at any time, however, you will be contacted when the admission process opens during the summer months. If you are applying for a specific term, please adhere to the application submission dates.
