Muneer Academy is a non-profit private school for boys and girls located in Warren, Michigan. Private schools are financially supported by donations and tuition payments, rather than by the government and are operated by several board members.
The primary goal of Muneer Academy is to provide the opportunity for all ambitious individuals to learn and live by the guidelines of Islam. Muneer Academy's dedication to upholding high academic standards in an Islamic setting encourages students to concentrate not only on their studies, but strive to succeed in the afterlife.
Muneer Academy offers three full-time programs for students who are interested in increasing their knowledge in Islamic and secular education. We offer a Quran memorization program where students can memorize the entire Quran and learn the basics of Islamic Studies, such as Tafseer, Seerah, Hadith, and Fiqh. We also offer an intensive 5-6 year Islamic Studies and Arabic program where students will learn Arabic, Tafseer, Hadith, Seerah, Fiqh, Aqeedah, and more. Muneer also provides a certified secular education for grades 4-12 in the core subjects of Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and English Language Arts.

Yes, we maintain a completely separate designation and bank account specifically for zakaat funds. These funds are kept entirely separate from our general operating accounts to ensure full compliance with Islamic guidelines.
Zakaat donations are allocated exclusively to students and families who formally apply for assistance and qualify under the recognized zakaat categories, particularly those facing verified financial hardship. Each case is reviewed carefully to ensure that funds are distributed appropriately and responsibly.
