Our courses

Intensively packed to cover all required core subjects and books found in true traditionally grounded Islamic studies program.  

The program aims to build an extensive knowledge of Arabic grammar and rhetoric aiding in the learning of the principles of Quran exegesis, hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, and theological studies. Our classical teaching method emphasizes teacher-student interaction and provides the privilege to learn from esteemed Muslim scholars.

Our small class size with reputable teachers provide an ideal environment for promoting authentic connection to Islamic learning and the transmission of religious knowledge directly from teacher to student.

Taught by certified scholars, the Aalimah Program relates the teachings and practices of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

 At completion, students will be awarded a certificate (ijazah) proclaiming their qualifications in the various studies in Islamic sciences.

The program aims to transmit the knowledge and discipline in a well-balanced method training students not only to comprehend but practice and pass on Islamic knowledge.

Prerequisites to Joining the First Year of the Aalimah Program

The student's daily schedule consists of classes Monday - Friday from 8:30 am until 4:10 pm year-round. Aalimah classes are from 12:45 pm until 4:10 pm.

Muneer Academy's Academic department follows the Michigan State Curriculum and Standards. We not only meet all the core requirements, but we also encourage our students to excel at their highest potential by providing opportunities and routes for our students to further their education by attending colleges and universities.  

What kind of school is Muneer Academy? What is a private school?

Muneer Academy is a non-profit private school for boys and girls located in Warren, Michigan. Private schools are financially supported by donations and tuition payments, rather than by the government and are operated by several board members.

The primary goal of Muneer Academy is to provide the opportunity for all ambitious individuals to learn and live by the guidelines of Islam. Muneer Academy's dedication to upholding high academic standards in an Islamic setting encourages students to concentrate not only on their studies, but strive to succeed in the afterlife.

What programs are offered at Muneer Academy?

Muneer Academy offers three full-time programs for students who are interested in increasing their knowledge in Islamic and secular education. We offer a Quran memorization program where students can memorize the entire Quran and learn the basics of Islamic Studies. We also offer an intensive 5-6 year Islamic Studies and Arabic program where students will learn Arabic, Tafseer, Hadith, Seerah, Fiqh, Aqeedah, and more. Muneer also provides a certified secular education for grades 4-12 in the core subjects of Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and English Language Arts.

What is the goal of the Aalimah program at Muneer Academy?

The goal of the Aalimah program is to provide students with a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge, character, and scholarship. Students study classical Islamic sciences while developing a deep understanding of their faith and how to apply it in daily life.

Will my child need to bring lunch to school every day?

Yes, students are expected to bring their own lunch and snacks each day. Food can be safely stored in their lockers until lunchtime.

Do students study Arabic in the program?

Yes, Arabic is a core component. Students learn to read, understand, and analyze classical Arabic texts to support their studies of Qur’an and Hadith.

The admissions process

The admissions process begins with our online application, which is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We practice "rolling admission," where applications are saved until our next admission interview season. You may apply to Muneer Academy at any time, however, you will be contacted when the admission process opens during the summer months. If you are applying for a specific term, please adhere to the application submission dates.
